Modifiers

Modifiers are an important aspect of Domination that give your Kai extra abilities and enhancements during gameplay. At the beginning of the game, your Kai will be given a set of modifiers from Modifier Pools during the Loadout Stage. You can then enable these modifiers during the Strategy Phase using the Command Bar. The activation times, effects, and cooldowns of modifiers can vary, so it's important to consider them when working on different strategies.

Tags

  • Cooldown - a delay before a modifier can be used again. The length of the cooldown is determined by the power and complexity of the modifier.

  • Type - the category of the modifier: See Modifier Types for examples.

  • Target - the target dependent for a modifier to activate: Friend or Foe

  • Affects - who or what the modifier is having an influence on: Faction, Group, or Self.

  • Stage - when a modifier activates: See Modifier Stages & Activations for examples.

Key Words

  • Adjustments - increase or decrease of a stat.

  • Boosts - a temporary increase of a stat.

  • Min & Max - the minimum or maximum amount of Kai required to activate group or faction based modifiers.

Modifier Stages & Activations

Preparation - modifiers that activate before Kai move out of their current zone.

  • Arc Weld: +5% HP REPAIR (based on CURRENT HP) during prep.

Battle - modifiers that activate when a battle takes place. If a battle does not take place the modifier is not used and can be enabled in the next cycle.

  • Fusion Cell: +10% PWR BOOST (based on CURRENT PWR) at the start of battle.
