Kaizen emerged from a decaying world brought to the brink of apocalypse by unyielding global war. Accelerated climate change has turned once fruitful regions into barren wastelands called Fallout regions, which now riddle the planet. Coastal cities now lie abandoned or submerged due to the precipitous rise in global sea levels. The Earth was spared from complete destruction by the rise of a coalition known as The Kaizen Corps, but restoration efforts on a global scale have yet to begin. The nations forming the original Kaizen Corps have since fractured into three independent factions that now battle for territorial dominance. The Kaizen Corps is now the last bastion of hope for restoring a decaying world.
