Sample Use Cases

Keychain offers a wide range of use cases that can enhance the way any game, app, or marketplace manages multiple user wallets While we’ve identified MANY use cases, here are few examples of how Keychain can streamline common problems:

  • Delegated Login: Easy management of multiple wallets, making it possible for users to access their accounts from any device without the need to log in with each wallet every time

  • Wallet-agnostic/Durable Accounts: Allows for the creation of player profiles, reputation, and game history that are not tied to a specific wallet.

  • Enforceable/Verifiable Same-owner Asset Transference: Ideal for transfer of assets between wallets, ensuring that only the owner of the wallets can make the transfer.

  • Rewards/assets accessible from multiple wallets: Keychain allows for rewards and assets to be owned by the keychain, making them accessible from multiple wallets.

  • Custodial Wallet migration: Easy migration of assets from custodial to non-custodial wallets.

  • Game-controlled Assets: Delegation of ownership of assets to the keychain for gameplay, making them retrievable by any wallet/key on the keychain.
